The Mother Tree begins shortly after the last battle at the end of Sacrifice. The party of adventurers decided to separate into three groups to hasten their objectives, and very quickly realize that separating was a terrible decision. Through death and betrayal, they stumble through the mysteries of the past as the party is forced to regroup in order to resolve a temporal paradox of their own creation. On the way; Sparrow learns more about the original death of the Guardian of Life and the true puppetmaster of the guardian’s downfall.
