About Me

I began writing when I was 14 years old and completed a couple of chapters before typical teenage life corrupted my priorities. After a decade of friends, dating, college, marriage, and kids, I decided to dust off my old book. I was surprised to find the story wasn’t terrible and reading it reignited that dormant creative drive I had lost.

I have a BS in Psychology and have tried to use that education, combined with my own experiences, to build a real-world connection to the characters I create. It’s a hard balance to achieve in character building, but practice makes perfect!

I believe in happy endings, achieved through the struggle, dedication, and sacrifice of real-world characters. My goal in writing is to leave people feeling uplifted and connected to the overall story, even when horrible things, including death, happen to the characters.

I plan on writing for the rest of my life, in one genre or another. Follow my page for weekly new writings!
